1. Cost-Based Pricing Items

The basic cost of design services is calculated on an hourly basis, with the following standard rates:

• Hourly Cost: €18 

   

    This includes the following project phases:

• Design Research: Initial market and creative research (10–20 hours)

• Final Concept Confirmation: Establishing design direction and concept (20–40 hours)

• Revisions and Adjustments: Modifications and refinements during the design process (minor revisions: +2 hours per change; moderate revisions: +8 hours per change; major revisions: +20 hours per change; generally 2–3 revisions are expected)

• Secondary Design Research: Further refinement and research based on feedback (10–20 hours)
   

2. Basic Markup

In addition to the initial costs, we apply a basic markup of 80% to 100% to cover necessary expenses such as taxes and social insurance, ensuring the sustainable operation of our design team.

• Standard Markup (100%): Applied to most projects to cover all essential taxes and social insurance.

• Flexible Adjustment (80%–90%): For budget-sensitive clients or smaller projects, the markup can be reduced to 80%–90% to enhance affordability.

Tax Note: This markup falls under Japan’s withholding tax regulations, covering income tax, VAT, and social insurance, ensuring essential coverage for our team.

3. Conditional Adjustments

Depending on the specific requirements of the project and the client’s profile, the final quote may be adjusted up to a maximum of +33% or -33%. Main factors include:

• Project difficulty

• Company scale

• Economic conditions of the client’s region

• Award-winning designer involvement

 

4. Final Design Quote

The final design quote is the combined result of cost-based pricing items, basic markup, and conditional adjustments.Through a reasonable pricing structure and flexible adjustment mechanism, we are committed to providing high-quality, competitive services to meet client-specific needs and ensure the sustainability of our design team.
